Jewellery from SOLO for Diamonds requires constant care and special attention. Here are some tips on how to properly care for your jewellery so that it remains beautiful and retains its shine:

  1. Wearing jewellery:

  • Take off before visiting a bathhouse, sauna, swimming pool, gym when performing physical activities, solarium, thermal springs or on the beach;

  • Take off before doing household chores;

  • Protect from mechanical damage, impact, falls (minor deformation of the product may weaken the fastening of stone inserts);

  • Protect from contact with cosmetics (especially alcohol-based), hair styling products, household chemicals; try not to wear jewellery when applying cosmetics (hairspray, creams, perfumes), as chemicals can damage the surface of the metal or stones. Put on jewellery after applying make-up and styling your hair.

  • It is best to take off jewellery at night to avoid damage while sleeping.

  1. Storage:

  • Keep jewellery separately from each other to avoid scratches and damage. Use soft fabric pouches or special jewellery boxes.

  • Keep jewellery in a dry place, away from moisture.

  • Protect from sudden temperature changes, dry and very humid air, avoid high temperatures (keep away from hair dryers, fireplaces, heating appliances).

  • When travelling, make sure your jewellery is safely stored in soft cloths or special containers. This will help prevent damage or loss.

  1. Cleaning:

  • Clean your jewellery regularly. You can use special soft cloths for jewellery to remove traces of oxidation or dirt. It is important to avoid aggressive chemicals

  • For deeper cleaning, please contact us or a specialised jewellery workshop to clean your jewellery without damaging it; ultrasonic cleaning of these items is prohibited. Specialised cleaning products and methods not only restore shine, but also preserve the stone in its original condition.

  • Periodically check your jewellery for cracks or loose stones. If a stone is loose or has fallen out, it is best to contact us or a specialist jewellery workshop.

By following these simple rules, you can keep your jewellery in good condition for many years.

Bio resin jewellery requires special care, as this material can be sensitive to temperature, moisture and mechanical damage. Here are some tips for caring for such jewellery:

  1. Avoid prolonged contact with water:

    • Bio resin can absorb moisture, which may cause discolouration or damage. Do not wear bio resin jewellery while swimming, showering or in the rain.

  2. Store in a dry place:

    • Store bio resin jewellery in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause the resin to yellow or lose its lustre.

  3. Caution with chemicals:

    • Avoid contact with cosmetics, perfumes, household chemicals or other aggressive substances, as they may damage the surface of the bio resin or change its colour.

  4. Cleaning jewellery:

    • Use only a soft cloth or tissue for cleaning. If the jewellery is very dirty, you can wipe it with a soft damp cloth, but do not allow water to get inside the product.

    • Do not use harsh cleaning agents or abrasive materials, as these may scratch or damage the resin surface

  5. Precautions when wearing:

    • Bio resin may be less resistant to mechanical damage than metals or stones. Try to avoid impact or friction to prevent scratching or breaking the jewellery.

    • It is also recommended to remove jewellery before going to the bath, sauna, swimming pool, gym, solarium or beach, or when doing physical activities or housework.

  6. Store separately:

    • To prevent scratches and damage, store bio-resin jewellery separately from other jewellery (especially metal jewellery) in soft fabric pouches or boxes.

Bio-resin jewellery requires a little more care, but with proper use and storage, it can serve you for a long time and remain beautiful.
